ABOUT FILEMON T. LIZAN SHS
Ang lupain ng kinatitirikang ito ay ipinagkaloob ng mga anak nang dating konsehal ng Navotas na si Kgg. Filemon T. Lizan sa Kagawaran ng Edukasyon (DepEd) Noong ika-21 ng Marso. 2012 upang maging sentro ng pandayan nang karunungan para sa mga mag-aaral ng Senior High School.

Ang gusaling ito ay ipinangalan na FILEMON T. LIZAN SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL bilang pagkilala sa kabutihang loob ng pamilya ni Lizan.
​
Naitayo ang paaralan na ito sa tulong ng kinatawan ng Navotas, Kgg. Tobias Reynald M. Tiangco at Punong Lungsod Kgg. John Reynald M. Tiangco gayundin sa pangangasiwa ng nanunungkulang Tagapamanihalang Pansanay, Meliton P. Zurbano at nanunungkulang Punongguro, Rico C. Tarectecan, PhD.

What strands are offered?
Filemon T. Lizan currently has two strands available; Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) and Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS). Both the strands are under the Academic Track.
What are the subjects to be taken by the students?
The subjects currently taught at FTLSHS are in line with the DepEd K-12 curriculum. It is divided into two parts: the core subjects, which are taken by all strands; and the specialized subjects, which serve as electives of the specific strand you’re enrolled into.
Are the lessons taught well?
The subjects are very well studied and taught by seasoned professionals here at FTLSHS. The teachers were graduates from some of the most prestigious universities such as Philippine Normal University.
Are the facilities well-constructed?
Facilities here at Filemon T. Lizan SHS are very much durable and engages students in active learning. There are positivity quotes, lessons, or even inspiring photos that you can see even if you’re just strolling through the corridors. FTLSHS is also proud to present its fully functional Science and Computer Laboratory for its beloved students.
How much is the tuition fee?
All these benefits are all FREE of charge! FTLSHS is the first stand-alone public senior high school in Navotas and adheres to the DepEd’s No Collection policy
